The film explains that Parkinson’s disease is one of the most common progressive neurological conditions and there is generally no known cause for the disease. It illustrates the areas of the brain that are affected and the proteins and cells involved, as well as detailing some of the most common symptoms associated with the disease such as tremors, rigidity and slowing of movement and how these symptoms can be managed using medication.
