Oui!  2mg per tablet, one hour before bed.  Began this course 8 days ago… but seemed to help me immediately.  One ting I have noticed is if I miss a night, the REM Sleep disorder comes back with a vengeance!

I’m with Marlyne… shoulder tightness and neck pain in the mornings and at night before bed.  I assumed it is constant but during the day I’m busy and maybe notice it less.  I can address it through Thai massage… and used a Chiro for a while but they are too expensive long-term.  I’m not brave enough to try Botox.

This stiffness seems to bring n mini-migraines (severe headaches) at times.  Especially if I notice it under my right Scapula.

Listening to classical music and folk music (Celtic) — and then trying to learn to play the Scottish smallpipes. Our pets help a wee bit as well. Then at times I go into a reading / movie watching binges.

I was diagnosed in 15 minutes by my neurologist, about 6 months ago. I most recently started on an introductory course of Sinemet (one tab in morn) but received a follow-up call from my neurologist and will likely be taking 2 and then 3 tabs per day of 25/100.
I have heaps to learn — this much I know. The only supports I have are my wife of 23 years and the medical staff at our local hospital.

I never heard of polyuria until I was diagnosed with PD six months ago. I urinate after every cup of joe I take during the day. And I wake at least twice a night to go wee. It’s quite inconvenient. Prior to BCD (BCD = before correct diagnosis)I was wondering if I had a bladder issue. But my GP assured me nothing was amiss with the plumbing.
I almost forgot — a year or so before my diagnosis, I had to start wearing men’s comfort pads as I dribbled heaps after urinating.

Hey there the Ducks. I just became aware of REM-SBD where Melatonin was recommended over Quetiapine as a neuro-nocturnal assist in helping to lessen the violent dream states of PD. It is noted to help prevent the RBD from seriously compromising our quality of life which leads to impaired daily functioning.
I’ve yet to take flight out of my bed yet — pole vaulting was never my thing. But I have been known to frighten the begeebers out of my spouse; by screaming, cursing, punching, kicking and attempting to strangle her! I don’t know wo I’m tangoing with or who / what I feel threatened by, but it seems the “fight mode” is the response of choice?
