Lee Ritsick replied to the topic Did you ever reach a point of acceptance? in the forum Diagnosis Information and General Questions 8 months, 1 week ago

Well, for me, there’s intellectual acceptance and there’s emotional acceptance.

Lee Ritsick replied to the topic Is there anything you wish you'd known as a new PD patient? in the forum Diagnosis Information and General Questions 9 months ago

Lee Ritsick replied to the topic How long have you known you have Parkinson's? in the forum Living With Parkinson's Disease 9 months, 3 weeks ago

I agree.  What  is the point of knowing you have Parkinson’s unless it is interfering in your life.

I was diagnosed a year and a half ago though as many others, I had symptoms earlier.  I went through alot of anxiety and fear and for what?  It can’t be cured or treated except for symptoms.  I guess I don’t get the need to know so early.

Lee Ritsick replied to the topic Mannitol, a sugar, has given me back my life! in the forum Parkinson's Disease Medications 1 year, 1 month ago

The label says super mannitol, dietary supplement (sunshine valley foods)Canoga Park, Calif.

My symptom of relaxing tremor seems less occasional.  My leg tremor seems less frequent.

    I am encouraged.

I bought Mannitol from Amazon.  Around $16.  So far, I have only used it 2 days but I already notice a change.  I intend to keep it up.
