How long should I wait to see the results of ropinirole?

Based on data from clinical trials, ropinirole induces significant reductions in off time in people with advanced Parkinson’s disease as early as two weeks after starting treatment. However, because the initial recommended dose of ropinirole may not work for everyone, some patients may require dose adjustments before experiencing the full benefits of the therapy.

Ana de Barros, PhD Ana holds a PhD in immunology from the University of Lisbon and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Instituto de Medicina Molecular (iMM) in Lisbon, Portugal. Ana was awarded two FCT fellowships and has won the Portuguese Immunology Society Best Paper and Best Poster award in 2009 and 2010, as well as the CESPU International Research Award in 2010.
