How Dance Therapy Is Helping Parkinson’s Disease Patients
Exercise is extremely important for patients with Parkinsons’s disease. Getting out and doing something fun while also staying active is a great way to build strength and widen your social circle. In this video from Kuntz and Company, dance teacher Pam Kuntz talks about her dance class that’s aimed at people with neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
Kuntz talks with two of her clients about the benefits of the dance class and how being able to move freely makes them feel. As well as the physical and health benefits, the attendees also talk about how great it is to get out and socialize and meet other people who have Parkinson’s disease or other neurological diseases.
