This inspiring video from Christoph Stopka shows that being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease doesn’t mean you have to stop living life to the fullest.

Discover 10 early signs of Parkinson’s disease here.

German-born Stopka moved to the U.S. in 1984. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2004 but he hasn’t let that get in the way of his passion for photography, particularly photographing scenery in his home state of Colorado. He maintains a very active life, skiing, hiking, cycling, doing yoga and other exercises to stay fit.

This short documentary demonstrates how Parkinson’s disease hasn’t slowed Christph down or stopped him from enjoying life. He also shares his advice for others suffering from a chronic disease: “don’t let the disease define your life.”
