Inventor Solves Graphic Designer’s Problem With Parkinson’s Tremors

Being able to write your name or draw a straight line are basic things which most of us take for granted. But for Emma, a young-onset Parkinson’s patient, not being able to do these fundamental tasks is doubly hard for her because she is also a graphic designer. As her Parkinson’s disease has progressed, Emma has been unable to draw or write freestyle for the past two years.

In this short video from the BBC, we see Emma’s delight when computer scientist, Haiyan Zhang, invents a wearable device which counteracts Emma’s tremors, leaving her free to do what she loves most: draw.
