A thing that I’ve done: I’ve seen a counselor from day one. I’ve had a psychologist, and I’ve gone through three.
I don’t know what that says about me. I made three of them retire. That’s a big piece of my treatment plan.
It’s crucial because I needed somewhere to just dump things. Be unapologetically me and not be judged. And that provided that for me.
