I started taking Magnesium Glycinate a couple months ago. I think it has helped with my sleep problems (blue light therapy also helps). The Mag seems to also help with headaches. I take it daily at bedtime.

I use magnesium oxide. I had all over body shivers and Charley horse in my legs, and it rarely happens now. I also checked some lab work and found that the yr before, magnesium level was a bunch below the normal range. I think it’s a common issue.

My husband was diagnosed with PD in 2016 at stage 3. He takes Magnesium 400 mg 2-3x a day to help with constipation! It really does help. As someone else mentioned, it has kept him from having leg cramps which he experienced early on before his diagnosis.

Hi, I take 200mg magnesium glycinate after exercise most days, it helps me with residual muscle tension. I’ve been doing this for over a year now with good results.

I take Magnesium Citrate – up to 450mg per day (200 is more usual) as needed for constipation. It seems to work.
