• Hi Jean,

Measure blood pressure first thing in the morning. If low give him 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt or Himalayan salt, each has 80+ minerals unlike table salt which has two, Na and Cl. If low anytime during the day, repeat.

Carbidopa depletes Vit. B6 potentially causing Tardive Dyskinesia. I take 100mg B6 as well as the fat soluble form of Vit B1(Benfotiamine) 100mg

Carbidopa can cause a Vit B6 deficiency, possibly contributing to dyskinesia. 1mg B6 for every mg of carbidopa taken. Talk with your doctor.

    Hi Robert,

The amount of L-Dopa in the British Supplements is 353.7mg per serving of 357.5mg of Mucuna. Your Madopar is a drug which has 100mg L-Dopa, it is not an extract. Mucuna will vary in potency. Need to look at how much L-Dopa is provided. An example could be Marijuana. 100grams of marijuana may have 1gm of THC or 15 grams of THC, 1% or 15%. Hope this helps Have a nice day!

    Hi Robert,

I went to the British Supplement website. I found a product, Mucuna Extract 99% L -Dopa.

A serving has 353.7mg L-Dopa. That would be close to three 100/25 Madopar. You are going to need some of the benserazide to help the L-Dopa to get to the brain. You are currently doing 1000mg L-Dopa/day. Find a ratio that works for you. Keep me posted

I am very much interested in natural medicine. It was Hippocrates who said “Let food be thy medicine

and medicine be thy food” I would like to here more natural complimentary treatments for PD. Diet,

vitamins, minerals and herbs definitely play an important role in the well being of the human body.
