Zoom PD Care Partner Support Group – Call for New Members

Hello Everyone.

If you are a care partner of someone with PD, I’d like to invite you to join our monthly online Zoom support group. My husband was diagnosed with PD in 2019 at the age of 62, and in an effort to help myself and others, I started this support group about four years ago. We have a lovely, determined and compassionate group of care partners who have become more like friends. We meet the second Sunday of each month from 2 pm – 3 pm Eastern Time.

If you would like to attend our meetings, please private message me via this forum and send me your email address. I will then add you to our member list. Our next meeting is Sunday, October 13.

Our meetings are generally unstructured, so members are invited to bring up any topics that are on their mind. We also have occasional special guests who are educational and enlightening.

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in our group!

I am interested. My husband has had PD for 16 years. I live in Houston and the local support group has a support group for care partners, but it is done WITH the person who has PD. It is also during the day when I am at work so the time of this group works well for me. My email is [email protected]. Thanks!
