  • When taking a shower feels like climbing a mountain!

In the February/March issue of Brain & Life magazine early onset Parkinson’s Disease sufferer Audrey Loveland writes about her personal experience. It is the only description that I have ever read that describes my problem. She writes “I felt betrayed by my body. Walking across my small apartment became a chore.Taking a shower was like climbing a mountain. Even getting dressed exhausted me.” My lack of stamina has progressed over a two year period to the point, where living alone, I am unable to obtain the energy to do even the three basic tasks of living never mind exercise! Is there anyone who also can relate to this?

I also get extreme fatigue, and I havent even got a diagnosis yet. Tests showed that my free Testosterone activity was suppressed, and I have been using bio-identical testosterone cream and HGH to overcome the weakness symptoms. It is not cheap, but it does show what gets relief and results from all the Parkinsons symptoms, like swallowing problems.

      Hi Elephant,

Glad to hear from you. Is your fatigue similar to what the author describes? You have not been diagnosed with Parkinson’s yet , I am a little unclear? Have the therapies provided you with a sufficient amount of energy to get done the things she describes which she find difficult as do I? Problem is testosterone is not going to help me being female!
