Preventing slips and falls
Where I live in Ontario, we can expect a lot of snow around this time of year and the sidewalks are often also quite icy.
If you live in an area with lots of snow in the winter, how are you preparing to prevent slips and falls?

Well, don’t go out in the snow and ice unless it’s unavoidable and use trekking poles with the end that are metal tips.

I always carried an coffee can filled with salt (ice melt) and would sprinkle it on the ice in front of me while walking to and from my car.
