  Making Your House More Accessible

  I recently wrote a column about the house my parents live in. The former owner had Parkinson’s, and he left behind little hints like a handrail at the door or a ramp in the backyard. While my dad didn’t use these amenities when he first moved in, he often uses the rails now. And I was curious about other ways you’ve made your house more accessible.
