  • Is having Parkinson’s expensive?

My Dad is fortunate to have medical insurance that pays for many of his appointments for Parkinson’s disease. But I know there are many people without that same privilege. Is having Parkinson’s expensive? And what are some ways you’ve been able to find financial support throughout your journey?

My health insurances-Medicare, UMR single, UMR family, and Champus- cover all my doctors’ appointments and testing in full. I’m also able to use Scott Air Force Base Pharmacy so my prescriptions are paid for in full.
I am so fortunate to have such great coverage at this time when I need it the most!

Normally good health insurance covers everything. If you’re unsure about the financial aspects of setting it up, don’t hesitate to reach out to citywide banks customer service https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/citywide-banks/customer-service.html —they can provide helpful advice or options to support your creative journey.

Most pharmacetical firms offer a low or no cost option for Parkinson’s meds if your annual earnings are below a certain threshold. Contac the pharmaceutical firm for more info.

Also, always get the generic version of the needed drugs, when available
