In Lori DePorter’s recent column, she wrote about reaching the milestone of becoming a grandparent despite being diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s. She expresses gratitude for the experience. But also notes that her Parkinson’s progression continues to change her relationship with milestones.

Have you reached any milestones lately? What are you looking forward to experiencing this year?

Thanks, MaryBeth – overall, once I had adjusted and accepted my life, PD has brought a sense gratitude and hope for milestones in my life – grateful I made it and hope for the next one!

I’m looking forward to “Making the Nevers Possible” help make my big dream come true (through the collaboration between Bened Life and KultureCity). for people with sensory sensitivities and “invisible disabilities” like Parkinson’s disease. Check out the websites Benedlife.com and kulturecity.org to try to help make someone’s dream come true.
