  • Has your breathing changed?

Ever since the globe erupted into a pandemic, my Dad has struggled to attend Rock Steady Boxing classes. While he doesn’t seem to mind the rest, I’ve noticed that his breathing has changed. Lately I’ve been hearing a wheezing that worries me. And I was curious if anyone else has experienced this? And do you think that it could be directly linked to exercise?

I recently started wheezing when I would bend over to put on shoes or socks. After seeing a pulmonologist I was diagnosed with asthma.

It was explained to me that Parkinson’s has caused scoliosis in my spine. The curvature of my spine “pinches” my diaphragm when I bend over, causing me to wheee.
