Does anyone else in your family have PD?
Challenging experiences in life can be very isolating, and while I’m sure none of us would wish PD on anyone, sometimes it can help to have a friend or family who is on the same journey. Does anyone else in your family have PD? Were they diagnosed before or after you? Have you found it helpful to have someone to relate to?

To the best of my knowledge, no blood relatives in my extended family have had PD. My parents can’t think of anyone they encountered in the family that ever exhibited any symptoms and went undiagnosed either.
I guess I’m the big winner of some long odds for YOPD. ? I keep hoping I can reproduce those long odds for the lottery but no such luck yet!

thanks for sharing. i too have no one in my family with PD and I have always lived a healthy life (nutrition, exercise)… go figure..i hope you win the lottery!
