Born in California in 1946. My father was in the USAF and we lived on Guam, in France, South Dakota, Utah and California. Joined the Marines in 1964, served in Vietnam 1966-68, started college 1968 and got my BS in 1972 (Marine Biology; Long Beach State/MS Biology 1978, Cal Poly, SLO). Worked as a biologist until 1985. Joined Lockheed/Lockheed Martin in 1986. Worked as a proposal manager until 2012 when I retired. Was eventually diagnosed with PD when I was 72 in late 2018 (seems like I was having early signs of PD 3-5 years earlier). Have always been a type A+ no matter what I was doing; love the outdoors. Was a runner from 1968 to 2016; avid mountain biker and surfer 1975- 2018; did many triathlons 1976-2012.
