Do you take any supplements for Parkinson’s?
Posted by Community Member on April 28, 2025 at 9:26 amI recently read about probiotics and how taking a supplement could potentially help constipation in Parkinson’s. The trial showed largely positive results, which got me thinking about supplements in general.
Do you take any supplements for Parkinson’s? If so, what do you take them for?

MemberJuly 3, 2025 at 2:42 pmI’m interested in this. I take Ursodiol for primary biliary cholangitis. It would be nice if that had a side benefit. My Dr thinks the gut/brain thing hasn’t been fully investigated enough for her to climb aboard that train.

MemberJuly 17, 2025 at 2:21 amI’ve been on a mix of supplements lately, mostly for energy and sleep. Someone in my support group mentioned https://gomicromagic.com/ , so I gave it a try. It’s been interesting—nothing dramatic, but I do feel a bit more steady during the day. I’m also watching how it interacts with my meds. Still early, but I’ll stick with it for a while to see if anything changes more noticeably.

MemberNovember 27, 2025 at 5:51 amI don’t have experience with PD specifically, but I started looking into general brain health when I noticed my memory wasn’t as sharp as it used to be.
For daily cognitive maintenance, I ended up adding Mind Lab Pro into my routine. It’s not about energy, but more about maintaining consistent mental clarity.
I like that the formula is very transparent about what is in it. If you want to see the ingredients list for general neuro-support, you could check out their site.

MemberMay 6, 2026 at 4:42 pmI’ve been looking into the gut-brain connection lately and it’s pretty fascinating how much probiotics can impact daily comfort. Constipation is such a common hurdle, so seeing positive trial results for something as simple as a supplement is encouraging. I try to stick to a balanced regimen, but it’s always a bit of a trial-and-error process to see what moves the needle for specific symptoms.
