Hey everyone! Hope you’re all staying safe out there.

Check out Dr. C’s latest column about cookies vs toilet paper. It’s a humorous piece, but it offers a poignant message. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. C urges people to focus on serenity, and not just survival. The allegory of hoarding chocolate chip cookies instead of toilet paper illustrates his point.

This passage in particular sticks out to me: “During these times, when the tender embraces of family and friends are absent, familiar stores and restaurants are closed, the comfort of routine is demolished, and doom and gloom run rampant through news broadcasts and almost all of our conversations, it is essential to find moments of serenity.”

Do you have any takeaways from this column? How do you practice serenity during this time?
