Check out our latest flash briefing all about what the sandwich generation can teach us about heroes.

The ‘sandwich generation’ includes adults who are simultaneously caring for their aging parents while also supporting their own children. This presents many challenges, but imagine being in this position and caring for a partner with Parkinson’s, or living with the disease yourself.

Does this scenario describe your life? How does it feel to be in this position? Would you consider yourself or someone who is juggling caring for aging parents, children and Parkinson’s (either their own or their partner’s) a hero? Why or why not?
