I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has had any experience with Mesenchymal Exosome treatment/exploration for PD?

    From my reading,

    (a) Exosomes appear to have some beneficial effect on stimulating regrowth of dopaniminergic neurons in the Substantia Nigra area of the brain.

    (b) Exosomes might be more promising than Stem Cells because their smaller size allows them to transit the blood/brain barrier, so blood stream injections might work.

    (c) Exosomes also appear to have more growth factors than Stem Cell (e.g. in PRP treatment), so promise to be more potent.

FYI: Exosomes are not approved by the PDA yet for therapeutic purposes. but are available for research purposes, trials, etc.
