My counselor helped me by helping me clarify the losses I’m experiencing with PD (things I can’t do anymore) and grieve, helping me think about new things that are meaningful and fun that please my inner child (painting and creative writing), and helping me have an attitude of “this is normal progression for PD” … it’s what’s to be expected.

I miss having someone to speak with since moving from AZ to IN about what’s happening to me. I had a GREAT Neurologist in AZ who was frank while remaining helpful & compassionate. I wish I could find someone like him around here. To date I haven’t found such a person..

My wife, while helpful, really hasn’t been the source for help I so need.

Lately I’ve been on the verge of tears & t.he urge to cry (for no reason) is becoming a struggle

This forum has really been a blessing to me – to learn I’m not in this alone.
