I take 3 each morning (9AM), 3 6 hours later (3PM), 3 more 6 hours later (9PM), then sometimes 1 or 2 around 3AM when I’m up briefly to visit the toilet. I’m observing the near absence of my tremors – the only noticeable I struggle with, other than constipation. I’m also on Amantadine 100mg, once each morning.

Constipation became more noticeable at the same time. I used Roundup often during my 50 – 60 year age range. Additionally, I was exposed to TCE during my 16 – 18 year age range (Early 1970’s). I’m leaning more toward the root cause being Roundup, and way less TCE. BTW – 23&Me reports I do NOT have the PD gene(s).

On a podcast I recently listened to, I learned that with PD, it is not uncommon to suddenly feel the “urge” when one’s bladder is 95+% full, compared to a non-PD person feeling that same “urge” once their bladder registers ~65% full. This 95% thing matches my situation very well. My adjustment has been to proactively visit the bathroom before heading out to an “event” like a road trip, a meeting that might go longer, an evening out, etc.

If so, have you found any helpful tools or treatments to manage it?My symptoms too, became noticeable 2-3 years prior to diagnosis. It is by far – the MOST annoying thing about my PD journey. I’ve since settled on 2 prunes each morning when I wake, then again each evening before bed. I also typically consume a Tablespoon (I’m a big guy) of Mineral Oil daily. This seems to afford me a daily, comfortable visit to “sit and contemplate.”
