Short Bio |
Military musician retired. Former journalist, school teacher, college instructor. Married for 25 years. Used to run marathons and shorter races. At age 59 while training during the summer I noticed my left arm not swinging. Tried PT with little effect. Went to a neurologist who said, “Try one of these three times a day.” No effect. Then he said to try two of them with each dose. Running felt fine after that. “Congratulations. You have Parkinson’s disease.” Now I’m 65.
