Short Bio |
I think of myself as a mild-mannered economist, quietly living near San Francisco’s East Bay. I share my lock-down space with my wife and a cat. For roughly three decades, I lived, worked, and traveled in Asia, especially East Asia. While I have been back for about ten years, the U.S. can sometimes feel like a strange land. I should be familiar with, should understand what is going on, but often I don’t. I have been writing most of my life, generally non-fiction (well, about economics), but science fiction pulls me, and I would like to strengthen my skills.
