Hi Beth, have you tried half a Trazodone? Xanax always helped me, but had to take it at bedtime as it knocked me out. From what I have read, taking Xanax and another anxiety pill is not a great idea.

  • yes, I would participate.

I occasionally have lower back pain , especially if I am sleeping on a soft mattress. Magnesium Oil relieves the pain.

  • The next clinical research study will take place very soon in Portland, Oregon. You will be given the glove to take home, but you must visit the clinic for follow ups.

They hope to get approval in the next year, or possibly sooner if the trial goes well. The FDA has fast tracked it.           You will need a prescription to receive the glove. They are not sure yet if they will lease it or sell it- maybe both.

I received the above information from the company that is collaborating with the Stanford group.

I am sorry you are struggling. I was diagnosed with Pd in October, and had been very burdened with high anxiety a year prior. Depression set in about a year later. I read about high dose thiamine (B1). I asked my GP and Neurologist about taking it and they said it couldn’t hurt. I began with 500mg and upped it every month by 500. I am currently at 1500mg. About a month ago my depression totally lifted my anxiety is much improved, and my hand tremor is almost nonexistent . I have been on C/L since diagnosed. 25/100 3 X a day. There are days when I forget I have this disease. Please note that I am extremely active physically. Golf, tennis, physical therapy, long walks etc.

Please, if you are starting an  anti-anxiety or anti depressant drug, have your doctor order a genetic test which will tell you which drugs are best for your genetic makeup. I had horrible side effects from at least 6 drugs which, come to find out, were not compatible with my blood type.  Best of luck. Melissa
