• How do you manage facial freezing?

As Parkinson’s progresses, many people experience facial freezing or masking (it’s basically when you start to lose motor control over your facial muscles). For those around us, it can shift social interactions. You might become harder to read, or less expressive with your face.

How do you manage facial freezing? And how do your loved ones respond to your expressions?

It’s helpful to look in the mirror often and smile! Seriously.
