Does anyone know the connection between clumping of misfolded alpha-synnuclien (Lewy bodies) and mitochondria? I see articles about one or the other, but nothing connecting the two.

I’ve speculated that exercise, which creates mitochondria, is a way to delay the onset of PD. I’ve also read of a connection between Vitamin B1 and enhancement of mitochondrial functioning. Both exercise & B1 seem to have an affect on PD progression.
