I also get very tired. I have to at minimum take a nap everyday. 30 minutes is usually enough. I also get very sleepy – I sleep through many TV programs etc. Not sure what to do about this!

Sounds just like me. Overwhelming fatigue and naps don’t help much. Usually feel better late afternoon but then sleep through everning TV. Seeing new doctor next month. current one suggested more coffee!

I had a time earlier this year where I was having extreme fatigue, even before I went to my exercise class. I started mixing some energy powder with 120mg of caffeine into my water and that seemed to help. I also made sure I hydrated very well before exercise class. I occasionally nap after class, but usually for less than 1 hour.

I’m in stage two and find that’s my chief complaint as well. However, as long as I stay away from sugar and sugar substitutes, my fatigue is mild. My only other complaint is incontinence, which is easily managed by wearing diapers 24/7.

I’m so thankful for this forum.
Though I have (diagnosed) MSA & not Parkinson’s I find many similarities between MSA & Parkinsons.
I find myself struggling to stay awake & though I really would like to do some things – try as I might – I find my motivation is just not there. If I do succeed in tackling the task I find myself truly spent after doing so.
I truly appreciate knowing I’m not alone.
