My head jerks spontaneously about an hour after I take my morning pill. It lasts about a half an hour. I’m not aware of what can be done about it. It’s a nuisance, not a crisis.

I have a problem with my toes on my left leg continually clenching and gripping. It often makes my toes very sore. My Neurologist prescribed Amantadine and it seems to help. Side effects are dry mouth, increase in urine get-ups at night and constipation all of which have come along with the PD. I’m 95 and am doing pretty well. I was diagnosed 3 years ago but my Neurologist thinks I have had it for 10 or 15 years but my very active lifestyle have kept it at bay. Anybody taking Amantadine?
