I do not like to take ANY form of prescription drugs, but now, (read my articles on my experiences with PD treatments; https://parkinsonsnewstoday.com/category/slow-is-the-new-fast-a-column-by-jean-mellano/ ) I am currently on 25/100 SInemet (6 pills per day) and 3mg Neupro patch.  Occasionally (with my doctor’s approval)  I have tried cutting down dosages for both meds, only to have to come back up again since my symptoms seem to worsen, mainly my fatigue.  As such, I feel like I am stuck on medications.  The fact that long term use of these meds is not good.

Have you tried reducing your dosages?  If so, what has been your experience?
