Short Bio

My wife was diagnosed with PD around 4-5 years ago, and now has bad tremors in left hand sometimes starting in late afternoon but sometimes as late as 8 pm. Along with the tremors she has thick saliva making it hard to swallow. On some days before the tremors start she has balance problems, falling quite often even when holding onto her walker.  But on some days she can push a shopping cart around a store with no problem and then walk to our car barely needing a cane. No predictability as to what’s to come on any day.  Is taking Rytary 4 times a day and gabapentin at bedtime.  Takes Levodopa/carbidopa at some time during the day or evening.
