My husband has had Parkinson’s for over 29 years. He likes shirts with stud fasteners. For footwear, I recently purchased Billy shoes for him. Now he doesn’t want to wear other shoes. These shoes look like other lace up footwear but they actually zip up.

My husband has had PD for 29 years. At his stage he uses continence pants all the time. Recently he started having one sachet of Movicol (active ingredients: Macrogol, Sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride) in the mornings. My husband who has had PD for 29yrs now has an alternating air mattress. He is pretty immobile at night and this mattress helps with pressure care. The mattress is made of foam with air “cells” that inflate and deflate alternately. It is like the ones used in hospitals and requires an electric pump. I prepare my husbands medications weekly. He has 6 lots of meds a day so I use a circular plastic pillbox which has 7 compartments (It’s actually a box for 7 days but we use it for one days pills.
