I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013. I have coma a long way since the diagnosis. I am a pediatrician by profession and continue to work part time. I am on quite a lot of medications, but find that being my own advocate and being proactive helps. Exercise is my biggest friend and I mix it up from RSB, weight training (body pump), zumba and modified kick boxing. I’m mostly positive and stay optimistic. It helps to have a very supportive husband and family.
