My husband was diagnosed with PD in 2015, and was pretty active for several years, but now is homebound, weak, skinny, and needs 24/7 supervision and assistance. He has trouble swallowing and even chewing, so I have to puree all his foods. We’ve been married for 47 years and find this a challenging, yet rewarding season of our marriage.
