Short Bio

Had atypical symptoms in 2005; took 8 years for a diagnosis of PD.  Had DBS surgery (GPi) in November 2014 to relieve severe dystonia in left foot and leg and tremor that was getting worse.  My surgery took place at OHSU in Portland, OR (Dr. Burchiel).   The results greatly exceeded my expectations.  I currenly facilitate a PD Support Group on Zoom.
