Short Bio |
I’ve had Multiple Sclerosis since 1982 at the age of 16. I started developing Parkinson’s symptoms in my late 40’s. I was diagnosed with clinical Parkinson’s Disease at 51 and began taking carbidopa/levodopa 23-100 3x’s a day. Now 5x’s a day. My MS is now secondary progressive. After a recent DaTscan showed mild abnormalities so the diagnosis has been changed to Parkinsonism.  I’m tapering off the carbidopa/levodopa to allow the neurologist to examine me while I’m not taking it.
