I was diagnosed about 2 years ago but I had many symptoms years before but would not accept them.  Fortunately I am relatively stable thanks to Parkinsons Boxing, SpeakOut!, exercise, and a fantastic caregiver, my wife.  I am a Parkinsons Ambassador and would encourage everyone to do this.  You get to interact with other people with PD and learn from them.
