Biography

I developed PD fallowing a surfing injury which required 100+ stitches to repair the gash through my cheek. I continued to surf for 9 more years and practice as a chiropractor and naturopath. Shoulder surgery lead me to replace my passion for surfing with pickball. Like surfing, I find pickleball to be therapeutic for my PD. I retired with disability 2021. I now do pro bono consulting for people with PD who I share insights I’ve learned and the many approaches I have investigated, tried and many that I continue to use with the caring support of my Neurologist and various other practitioners, to slow and manage the progression and symptoms of PD. I work hard to continue to enjoy a high quality of life despite requiring a high dose of Rytary and other PD related medications.
