I was diagnosed with PD at the age of 57. I am a personal trainer and had been a runner for almost 20 years. Unfortunately, one of the 1st PD symptoms that I experienced was my left foot stiffening and then turning over on it’s side when I ran. Kim, it sounds like you’ve found some really awesome ways to manage PD symptoms. My Dad (diagnosed in 2013) has had a tremendous amount of success with Rock Steady Boxing, and he’s fairly certain that there’s a vital connection between fitness and PD progression.
