Three years after diagnosis, I was no longer able to drive due to vision problems and tremors, Thanks to participation in a drug trial, I’ve been able to resume driving and am free of tremors and other troublesome symptoms. I’ve completed the initial 1-yr. NeuroDerm trial, and now I’m in a long-term usage phase. I’m eagerly awaiting FDA approval so that others suffering with troublesome symptoms can experience improvements without having to undergo surgery (i.e., DBS, Duopa).  Building a good support team is essential to remaining active.  My team includes a movement specialist, PD support group, physical therapists, and most importantly, my wife/caretaker.  I’m a strong advocate of exercise, and regularly participate in non-contact boxing.
