Hello, I’m one of five siblings who have all had autoimmune diseases. Three have past. My twin and I are the last remaining members of our immediate family. Currently, I have four chronic diseases: Parkinson’s, heart disease, Myasthenia Gravis and a rare eye disease; serpiginous choroiditis. In the past I have also experienced stage 1 uterus/ovarian cancer as well as squamous cell skin cancer. My brother and I believe all five of us siblings contracted these autoimmune diseases based on environmental factors. I am seeking out people who have also experienced multiple autoimmune diseases and how they deal with coping strategies.
