Short Bio |
I was diagnosed with PD 10 years ago, at he age of 57. Since then, the evolution was slow, mainly limited to a tremor of the right hand and recently a beginning tremor in my right foot. The slowness of the evolution was most likely due to continued activities, professionally as well as in my private life. I do a lot of practical work, such as mechanics, and others and I train a hour daily, mainly running, cycling, martial arts and Tai-Chi-Chuan. My neurologist has suggested I should look into the options of Ultra sound or DBS. I have been extensively tested recently, and depending on the advice from the hospital, I will have to make a decision on which intervention I think would be most beneficial.
