Website. I had various problems for years that began with loss of smell. Then loss of taste, tremors on right side at rest, but my doctor couldn’t find any relationship in all that I was experiencing. I was in his office for my annual physical in 2018 (Age of  71) when my saw the tremors for the first time. He sent me to a neurologist and after a few hours of testing, several visits to other specialists’ to rule out one thing or another, the neurologist diagnosed me with PD. I immediately began taking Sinemet and within a few weeks my tremors on come back when I go more than five or six hours without Levodopa/Carbidopa.  I now have 100% disability presumed to be from Agent Orange exposure during my two years in Vietnam. I also have diabetes (No family history from diabetes), peripheral neuropathy.
