Short Bio |
I’ve had Parkinson’s for three years. I live in the UK: for many years in north Kent but now on the Isle of Wight. Spent five childhood years in Australia the rest in Kent, a couple of years in Devon and another couple in Buckinghamshire but never been exposed to heavy metal to my knowledge or lived in a particularly rural area. Mostly in suburbs. My PD is therefore a mystery to me. My symptoms aren’t very typical either as I have a fairly small tremor in both legs which makes walking hard. More normally I have slowness and stiffness (in my core and back). My hands are fairly unaffected. Levadopa sorts most of this lot out and I’m feeling pretty good at the moment apart from the odd spell of low blood pressure usually experienced proprandially.
