Biography

I have recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s after a few years of not feeling so great. I have always been active and with my husband, competed in Ballroom Dancing around the world and even winning many first place trophies. I also teach Tai Chi and Qigong and at the moment am able to keep these activities going. We have slowed down the Ballroom Dancing and no longer compete but have taken up Argentine Tango. I walk my German Shepherd every day, 3 miles three times a week and shorter walks the rest. My goal is to keep up the exercise as much as I can. Stress is my worse enemy but so far I am able to do the book keeping for our companies. I have good and bad days/weeks but have had constant pain for six years now. I find I have to keep moving and exercising to avoid stiffness and more pain.
