Retired high school English teacher. Diagnosed 4 years ago at age of 75. Married to a retired school principal. Two kids, one a jazz musician in Kansas City, the other a music journalist in Florida. Two grandchildren (in Florida). Work out 4 to 5 days a week…have two nice gyms near by. Still travel but not as exotic locations as before. Read the New York Times every morning and watch The Daily Show most nights. Am in touch with many of my former students which has been very nice. Am doing okay with the Parkinson’s so far…take 1 and 1/2 carvadopa/levodopa pills every four hours.
