My husband was diagnosed with PD in 2013.  Now that we know symptoms we are sure he had had it for sometime before that.  His progression was slow until the last two-three years and it has accelerated with much cognitive decline/hallucinations.  He no longer drives, I take care of most everything and help him as needed with his daily routine.
